Used while some relatives were visiting and we made sausage, egg, cheese biscuits just like at the local Mic D’s. Once the egg is slightly cooked the egg ring can be gently removed so that you can flip the egg for over easy style. Made both sunnyside up and over easy and also a couple where the yoke was broke for one person who did not like runny yokes.If anyone says this does not work as described and that the eggs leak under the ring and spread out beyond the ring then they are not using it correctly and need to actually read the instructions and not just look at pictures. I had one egg out of four the first time I used these leak under the ring but that one was my fault as I bumped the ring with my hand as I cracked the egg into the ring. Have made over two dozen perfectly round eggs since I got these and expect to use them almost every day.Easy to use and clean. I made pancake mix and made mini pancakes in one set, an egg in another, and it came out perfect. It was a little trial and error. Figuring out how much pancake mix went into the ring, what temp it cooked on, which side of the ring to use, etc. But we figured it out and came out with the perfect little pancake sandwich, or even just mini pancakes, and eggs in one pan, and sausage in another. Saves washing a third pan every time I want pancakes, eggs, and sausage for breakfast.I got a 4pk of the rings for $7.50. I got 2 sets because I cook a lot. It says they are dishwasher safe, but it's just as easy for me to hand wash them. Spray them, for sure, before you use them, (or grease them whatever floats your boat), because food WILL stick. But beyond that, they are fabulous. The little handle that sticks up is awesome. Just pick it up carefully, and kind of rock it side to side a little to loosen one side and the rest will come loose easily. Totally recommend these if you like to build breakfast sandwiches for the family or morning commutes for yourself.You can make a bunch of these and freeze them. Pancake batter freezes. You can make these, freeze them individually, and then stack them, take them out the night before, set them in the fridge, and let them thaw, and then reheat, cook your egg and sausage, and wrap and go. You can also just as easily use them for something like a little mini-hamburger, or a little mini-egg scramble.Just remember that the higher you fill the little container, the lower you have to set your heat. It has nowhere to go, so it will end up burning your bottom before it cooks it through. That was one of the trial and errors we figured out.
