I previously had the royale hair straightener that I bought 2012. I spent $300 on it with a lifetime warranty only to have it die and be told that I couldn't get a warranty because I needed to bring it back were I got it from (which was a kiosk in the Mall of America) even though I had registered it and everything. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed about it. I read the reviews on this product because I thought the deal was too good. After reading about 50 great reviews and 1 or 2 bad, I decided to order it and give it a go. I am so glad that I did. I received it yesterday and used it for the first time this morning and had great results. My hair came out beautifully. It took my less time to straighten it then before and I only had to do 1 or 2 passes per section. My previous straightener was the same size so the size of this didn't bother me.
