Review: Not as perfect as my favorite pillow at home, but is great on flights - Like a lot of people writing reviews for this product, I've tried several different types of neck pillows, braces, etc. I bought the Trtl pillow to use on both business trips and on vacations... and only for flying. I take several international trips every year and I fly about once a month for work. I've tried a squishy u-shaped pillow and didn't like it because it wasn't firm enough for the way I sleep and I didn't care for it at all. An inflatable u-shaped pillow was so-so. I have brace-style sleep collar thingee that I actually like quite a bit, but the last few times I used it, my neck ended up a little sore. Honestly, half of the reason that I bought the Trtl is because I was intrigued and wanted to see how comfortable it is. I've used a couple of times so far, and I really like it. Is it as perfect as my pillows at home? Nope. But is it comfortable when flying? Definitely. Pros: - Once you figure out the position that is JUST right, it's great. It took me a few tries to get it in a spot that supported my head while I slept. If you don't do that, you'll end up with a sore neck. Other reviewers say that it's a bit flimsy, and I thought so, too, at first, but I fiddled with it a bit and once I got it in the right position: bingo! Was supportive and worked great. - Super soft material - Helps keep you warm on chilly flights - Keeps fellow travelers from talking to you (if you want a little privacy) because when they see you put the thing on in order to take a nap, they know you're serious about going to sleep. :) Cons: - Am a little concerned that the material won't hold up. So far it's been fine, but I secure the Trtl around my neck pretty snug, and am a bit worried that eventually the plastic prongs will come popping out of the seams. But again, it's been just fine so far. - It takes up a little more room in a travel bag than other pillows because it doesn't lay completely flat. That's not a huge deterrent for me, though, because I tend to pack pretty lightly and I had plenty of room for it in my bag. All in all, the "pros" greatly outweigh the "cons" for me, and I really like it. If the material doesn't hold up, I'm come back and change my review, but so far, I'd recommend the Trtl. :)
Review: really helps you sleep sitting up! - this is pretty good. It holds your head up so that you can really sleep on the plane with the seat back all the way up. the only thing is that it starts getting uncomfortable and you have to wrap it around a few times before getting it right and ready to sleep. if you have long hair like I do, that is a bit of a hassle. but otherwise it does what I expected and was pleasantly surprised. it's not perfect but it's what I need for long flights.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do you wear the Trtl Travel Pillow?**
A: Place the internal support against your neck (left, right, or under your chin). Wrap the fleece scarf snugly and secure the fastening. The patented internal ribs cradle your head, keeping it securely upright so you can sleep in any seat.

**Q: Is the Trtl Pillow machine washable?**
A: Yes. Simply open the hook-and-loop fastening, pull out the internal support structure, and toss into the washing machine. Wash on a cool cycle and air dry to keep the fabric plush, fresh, and ready for your next destination.

**Q: Can I wear it with over-ear headphones?**
A: It depends on your headphones. Earbuds and slim models fit easily, but bulky over-ear styles can bump against the rigid internal support. If your headphones are oversized, wrap the Trtl pillow slightly lower or switch to earbuds for the best fit.

**Q: How is it different from a traditional U-shaped pillow?**
A: Unlike squishy U-shaped pillows, Trtl is a support-first design. The engineered internal structure holds your head securely upright, offering a structured wrap rather than a soft cushion.

**Q: Is it compact enough for carry-on luggage?**
A: Yes. At just 4.5oz, it is 50% smaller than a standard U-pillow. The slim, flat profile slips easily into your carry-on or clips directly to your backpack using the included travel bag, saving you valuable packing space.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Neck Pillow to Compliment the Starkio Footrest!
*by P***S on February 25, 2020*

I purchased this Trtl Neck Pillow to go with the Starkio footrest I purchased several months ago for my boss (who travels at least 3 days a week on flights that are a minimum of 2 hrs long) after a client recommended that he shoudl invest in a footrest hammock. The Starkio footrest has thick cushioning and is easy to install - it's greatly improved the comfort of his flights (especially when he flies Economy - he's not a large man by any means but the leg space is so cramped!). My boss has a bad back, so the long flights take a toll on him (plus he's on his feet for 5-8 hours once he lands and sometimes drives 1-2 hrs after landing if it's an overnight trip). The Starkio footrest has significantly improved how he feels and is able to move after his trips, but lately his schedule has forced him to take longer flights, often at night, which means he ends up sleeping on the flight...which means his neck gets sore. I found this Trtl Neck Pillow and suggested he give it a try since it is a decent price and we already got an excellent deal on the Starkio footrest. He has been on 3 trips where he's used the Neck Pillow in addition to the Footrest Hammock and we all have noticed a significant improvement to his mobility when he lands and his mood in general :) I asked him how the pillow is working and he said he really likes it and is glad we found two high quality items for good deals. He says it supports his head without feeling like he's in a neck brace and he's had no issues sleeping on the flights. I noticed several reviewers commented that it was too warm so I asked him specifically about that and he (a man who insists the office be at 68 degrees) had no issues with being overheated in it. My boss has already requested I purchase more for his assistants. The takeaway of this is: If you fly frequently or are about to embark on a long journey, buy the Trtl Neck Pillow and Starkio Footrest! They are high quality items at very affordable prices; simple to use; easy to pack (even if you are just taking a day trip, like my boss often does); have excellent cushioning and stability where you need it (for neck, feet, legs, and back); are easy to clean; and although I can only vouch that the Starkio Footrest has held up over months of regular use, the Trtl Neck Pillow seems like it will hold up over time too.
