It fit well (once I figured out how to click the right piece in place). When I gave it a try, the plastic blades worked great for about 4 minutes, but one broke in half when I got too close to a rock. With one blade broken, the whole trimmer vibrated so badly that I had to stop. Also, it drained the battery about 4X faster than normal. I'm not sure why that would be. My second attempt was just as disappointing. I took the blades off and replaced them with 2 pieces of the supplied trimmer string. With a freshly charged battery, I tried it out. The strings cut well, but the battery died again WAY sooner than it does with the factory installed trimmer head. Not sure why that happens, but it leaves the trimmer all but useless. I think its probably time to invest in a gas-powered trimmer. ### ⭐⭐ Great little tool, just not tough enough. This is the second time I purchased the item, even though I had the same experience with the first one (like the other reviewers). It's just so convenient and easy to handle that I really hoped I could get the second one to last longer. At this price I'd be willing to buy a new one every other season or so, but I just can't afford to replace it every time I use it. Too bad!The metal prongs holding the blades in are really close to the sides of the plastic head. So they wear out easy.
