The label said it was "moisturizing", and so I used it nightly. After about a week, my lips began to feel even more dry, so I used it more often, Then after about 2 weeks use, off and on, my lips became very dry, very sore, tight and numb feeling. The inside of my mouth and tongue began to also feel strange, like numb, and a bit swollen. By the beginning of January, I stopped using this as I thought this isn't right..it's now 1/24 and for almost 30 days my lips have been very dry, tight and feel like they are burned. I have a red, slightly swollen area around the entire area of my bottom lip and both corners are still tight and painful. I cannot stretch my lips to smile, have trouble eating, constantly use vaseline to soften them and have appointments with my oral surgeon and dermatologist. I contacted the seller with questions, but have heard nothing. PS I've had matcha tea, matcha in my smoothies, matcha in other foods...no reactions. This is speficit to this lip "moisturizer", so be careful. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Must buy! *by A***R on August 9, 2017* One of the best lip products I've used!This product worked the best for me. Because before using this lip mask my lips were super dry. I finally know what normal lips feel. It has a Matcha scent to it, but isn't strong and does not taste like anything. It looks like it's going to last me a while, even when I use a thick layer of it. I used it mostly for night time, but due to the results, I even implemented it during my daily routing as a balm. This product is worth the money and because it helped me with the dry lips issue. It feels great when it's on. And I do think the vitamin E helps it to absorb into the lips a little better than just coconut oil. But once it absorbs, it's done. There is no lasting effect. I do think the jar will last a long time, so price is pretty decent. Not great. But decent.
