I've not managed to do this by accident yet but I have managed to do it on purpose. The tool that it comes with for doing the initial adjustment of the strap could be sturdier but just about worked. Bought the non-quick release version and my wife finds it a little fiddly to get the mi-band in and out but once in it holds it really well.
