How much is needed per application?** A: The website shows the amount to use. I use 4 oz. once/week based on pool surface area. This product is not as efficient as a solar blanket. **Q: Doesn't the liquid barrier get caught up when using a leaf/bug skimmer net thus reducing the amount of barrier every time you use the net ?** A: Doesn't seem to. Goes right through the net. I run my pump/skimmer/filters in my salt pool 2 hours each day.
