For me it wasn't for weight loss, but just toning. So I'm not sure what you'd have to do to see weight loss. Though, even with my very inconsistent use, as in 1-2 times a week, if not every other week, I've still achieved muscle tone in my thighs and calves that I'm very happy with and have never had before. I don't use the bands personally, because I sort of created my own routine where I incorporate manual pushups and crunches. But I can imagine the results would be even more impressive when you use the whole system, on a regular basis. I definitely recommend, especially if jogging or walking on pavement is hard on the knees and ankles, which is another reason I purchased. Low impact, high level of results. If you turn your feet outwards a bit, you can even get a good inner thigh work out. Good luck and I hope you get the results you seek! But wanted to at least try it, since it looked like fun, was easily portable---and easy to store, and could quite possibly kick my hiney. Also, with a money back gaurantee, you can't go wrong. I felt the burn to my calves and front thights about 3 or 4 minutes in. And I can work out upstairs OR downstairs----or even out on the deck---because it is so easy to move. Now I just have to use it EVERY DAY! THAT is the trick. Have not utilized the DVD yet.
