As a Pro Body Coach I use bands with my clients daily. Sometimes with traditional mini bands they "roll" when doing some leg based exercises. I didn't want a house full of dumbbells/kettlebells so I thought that I would give resistance bands a try. What can I say except that they are Great!You have to be creative in how you use them, but overall they are arguably better than the gym machines and free weights - because in part how versatile they are, and how creative you can be with them. Initially apprehensive about them breaking, but that was just me being a wimp. Very sturdy with no chance of them tearing, let alone snapping. They are damned cheap as well, with lots of exercises on Youtube for you to try/copy. I have 2 full length bands and 1 mini band of various resistances, and they compliment each other very well.
