Review: Solid Mouse - First off, let me just say I'm not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to mice. I just switched off of a Logitech g602, which was good for a while but was starting to act up so I needed a new mouse. Overall, this mouse is great. The pros are it's light, responsive, ergonomical, and pretty good looking. My only cons were trying to install the Alienware software, again, I'm not that smart with this stuff, but once i got it working everything runs fine. I did notice that you have to have a mouse pad (I don't know why you wouldn't) because it flat out doesn't work on them. The 2 front buttons are practically useless, because the whole point of having macros is to make certain actions easier, and they're pretty out of the way. The other 3 are in a great spot and I haven't had any problems bumping into them accidentally. All in all, id 100% recommend this.

**Q: Does this mouse have a silent click?**
A: It's audible but not obnoxious.

**Q: Has anyone had double clicking issues with this mouse yet?**
A: The one I got from Alienware yes. Right out of the box. The Amazon one has been perfect. Same mouse, but you'll find returning to Amazon much easier than returning to Alienware. Alienware wants to drag you through days of customer support and have you do a bunch of stuff that doesn't help.

**Q: Are the button settings stored on the mouse? Or do you have to have the software running for them to work?**
A: You can set the DPI settings on the mouse, but highly recommend that you go to the Alienware command Center and re-calibrate the LOD (Distance to the mouse pad).

**Q: How do you install the Command Center? This software is so terrible it wont install no matter what**

First off, let me just say I'm not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to mice. It feels good. Tracks excellently and has enough buttons for any game or application. Yes it costs a bit more but I believe you will have a quality mouse that will last a long time.
