Once set up its very easy to use. **Q: What is the overall size off the surround from floor to top of mantle please** A: Just below 78cm **Q: Does this come with the white surround and electric fire?** A: Hi Yes the above fire comes with a white laminated weyroc type base which will need to sit on a permanent ceramic/stone hearth and the rest of the surround for mine was of an oak-like finished weyroc type timber. It does look nice in our particular setting. Sturdily packaged and easy to remove. No damage (almost). Well constructed and no assembly required. Only gripe was that there was only 1 screw in place on the bottom rear holding the fire in the surround, result was the fire could move slightly thus leaving a slight scratch on the white base front - Not readily evident though. Be aware a 13A rated extension will be required if no wall socket nearby. Flame effect is good the heater is very efficient for a 13 x 13 room even at 1k. I like the dimmable flames and the remote control is simple and well designed. The whole thing says quality and it is a perfect compact size. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Great product. I would have preferred the product to be a little taller but the proportions are fine on the whole.
