Echo PAS 225. I already have established edges so edging now is super quick and looks great. I’m amazed at how fast I could edge and how great it looks. I have a riding mower but quite a bit of area that it can’t access. This device makes trimming and “mowing” those large areas so much better & easier. I watched a few videos of professionals using this and they noted that it created a lift/suck, which it does but some how it doesn’t cause it to grab or dig in. My trimmer spins counter clockwise, so as long as I trim right to left it works great with no grabbing and digging in, left to right will. I previously had a stick edger attachment for a craftsman trimmer. I always felt like it didn’t cut all that sharp and crisp and wasn’t all the fast to complete the work. The trimmer was under powered and blew the ring. That attachment doesn’t fit the Echo and I never got around to getting one. Since, I’ve been edging freehand. I did use the Edgit on my neighbors sidewalk edge that was very over grown and it was a bit of a bear to complete. A stick edger wouldn’t have been easy at all either. I do think $90 for a plastic plate is quite expensive, but I would rush to buy it again if I needed another one. Though it’s plastic it seems plenty durable. If you’re at all wondering about it, just get it you’ll be so glad you did. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars I really like it! *by M***S on Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2021* I just could never do a good job edging with my string trimmer (any of them), I just can't stay steady enough to get a nice straight edge. Anyway, this thing works great. I didn't realize how important the distance/space between the string flying around and the disk is, that determines the 'width' of the 'slice' basically. I had to put the original Echo trimmer head back on my SR210 because the 3rd party head had too much space between the string and the disk. Anyway, I couldn't be happier as long as it holds up, and I think it will, it's a real heavy type of plastic that I think is reinforced or something. I suppose you could break it somehow but you'd have to be a real, well anyway. I can see how if you are in a rocky type soil area you could have stones going everywhere but I would think that would happen with any type of string trimmer.
