It's like Goldilocks; not too much, not too little, but juuuuust right!! I would definitely recommend this for either the patient or a support person who is taking care of any bariatric patients. If you have ever put together a cookbook (which I have), it is a tremendous amount of work. While I like more pictures, this one has enough and gets you excited enough with the specific weekly food plans, that you really don't mind especially since you are learning serious portion control in those first several weeks anyway. Personally, I'm pre-op right now and have to see a dietician for six months before surgery.
