I had a great feeling that it would be good when it arrived in a box larger then the purse itself instead of being folded all up and put in a small shipping bag. The purse was packed in a protective bag and was stuffed with paper to keep it from being crushed. All the hardware and the handles had protective coverings on them. I'm so thrilled that I didn't have to set the purse up with more packing material so that all the folds would come out because there were no unwanted folds.There is a very slight chemical smell but I'm sure it will go away very quickly like was said in all the other reviews. I was worried about purchasing another purse online but this company did a very nice job of giving me a quality purse that is exactly as pictured and described. I will buy from them again.OH one final praise worthy comment is about the shoulder strap.....it is very sturdy and it has fabric on the bottom part of the strap which allows it to stay on my shoulder much easier. I didn't even know that was something I wanted but they did a nice job in there design of this purse. It is a little smaller than I expected but I guess I underestimated the measurements stated in the description. I have gotten at least seven compliments in just one day of wearing it. I got the pink, white version. Though it isn't leather, it definitely feels like it. The material is sturdy and the gold hardware is oh so shiny. A true girly-girl's bag as another person commented. It did have a funny smell but that went away after a couple hours of unboxing. I am seriously considering to buy a second one for when this current one has done its time. Lol.
