Cosumina Waterproof Strip Lights, Indoor Outdoor Rope Lights Plug in Tube Lights (99ft)

I needed to replace an old rope light used to light up along the edge of my RV. It was thick, hard to coil, lit up fine, but gradually many sections were dark. This string of led lights plugs right into my 120v outlet, are a little less bright, but considering the length, I can double and triple the number of lights for the same string length, all is good. The remote control is an added bonus, you actually get many more combinations of light patterns than I could ever use. They all work, and look distinctive. The color is slightly on the warm white side, just a hint of yellow to warm it up a bit. Not a harsh glare of bright cool white, I like it. Would be great on a fence or other border that you might want to outline at night.

Brand new lights and we live in the Pacific North west, which rains quite a bit. We put up the lights outside and they did not work at all. We are extremely unsatisfied with the product. If the company can help us with a possibly defective strand, please contact us. Otherwise, this product did not work outside in the rain. Extremely unsatisfied.

I purchased one order of these lights to hang in my livingroom window.The bulb and battery pack are light enough to be supported by several thumbtacks.Overall, a great looking lamp and durable enough for the price. I can't complain, it's been serving me well!

The remote control only works to about 3’. The lights are very dim.

There is a substantial gap between the 33 ft and 66 ft strands.

Lights were arranged around deck, plugged in (all good so far), and then dimmed and stopped working in less than 48 hours.

The lights are beautiful but you have to be really close to use the remote to change the settings.

I'm a fan of white light strands being used throughout the year. On the upside, these offer an unusual and terrific length (99 feet), and a whopping volume of actual light sources (300 tiny LEDs). I thought I'd find their transparent "rope" encasement off-putting, but it's thinner than a drinking straw and quite unobtrusive, and does provide the value-added waterproofing and ease of positioning that freeform light strands generally can't deliver.The included remote control is small and thin, and is a great convenience for lighting an outside strand while remaining indoors. The remote's eight preset lighting modes are highly varied and all are visually attractive.The downside is the greenish-white coloring of the LEDs. While they're charming in their small size, these lights are in no way the cozy "Warm White" advertised here, and which we lovingly associate with the soft lighting temperatures of old world Christmas lights, candles, or even traditional everyday lamp lighting. The ideal solution would have the manufacturer source warmer LED lighting for this product offering. In the interim, they'd do well to immediately remove the "Warm White" descriptor from the current product posting, as it's simply inaccurate. So too is the coinciding product photo, which in fact does look like the "Warm White" we all know and love, but is just not representative of the product's true color output.-Was this review of any use to you?
