I purchased it only to replace the one that came in my certified reconditioned phone immediately on purchase. The tool kit is a waste of time and money if you can purchase the battery alone at a lesser price. As I learned, removing a battery from an S*+ is not easy, even with YouTube video instructions. I had no idea my phone warranty could be voided by me or another non-certified person replacing the battery. I took it to a small certified computer company to open and replace.
