Low marks to the seller, though, for not clearing the Charter Communications password. Apparently, the Charter password has been burned into the unit in such a way that survives a factory reset. Said another say, none of the default Cisco passwords for this model worked for me and I had a lot of searching to do before I could obtain the admin login to configure the unit. When one thinks "refurbished", it is assumed to be set back to factory specs. I have only used it for a few days now and it seems to be working fine. Cox said they were having trouble getting it up and running but in the end got it to work. I will try to revisit this post in a few months with an update.
