Review: Cost effective way to get a Noise Cancelling headset - In expensive alternative to a Bose A20. I'd recently bought a pair of QC35's which I was very impressed with as a keen flyer I was interested to see whether it was viable to use them as an headset for general aviation flying. I took a punt and tried this product, when it arrived I have to admit I was somewhat disappointed by the cheap packaging and pretty much non existent instructions (a single piece of paper). But the instructions are pretty clear to follow. You place a magnet onto your headphones and the mic attaches to the magnet and you then attach a cable to your headphones and mic, all very simple. The magnet is reasonably strong but I wouldn't recommend flying aerobatics with it as it likely to come off. I've only flown with it once so far but the noise cancelling worked well, not quite to the level of an A20 but enough and personally I'm a fan of still being able to hear the engine...just. If you've got a pair of noise cancelling headphones this is a great inexpensive addition as a space or passenger headset.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this work with the newer bose 700 headphones?**
A: no this will not. you need the Crystal Mic X700 for the Bose 700 headphones. the curvature on the earpiece is too great for the the magnets to adhere to the Bose 700. look at youtube and search for Bose 700 crystal mic
