**Q: Can you just wash the filter and reuse it?**
A: The filters are not washable. They will need to be vacuumed off once a month and replaced every 6-8 months. If further assistance is needed please contact us at yourfriends@guardiantechnologies.com or at 866-603-5900 X213 M-F 8:30-4:30 EST.

**Q: Do these produce harmful ozone because of the UV light technology?**
A: It is my understanding that the addition of the titanium dioxide component catalyzes everything into water vapor and CO2 while also boosting the anti-bacterial/viral qualities.  However, I have never replaced the UV-C light so I haven’t looked to see how long the titanium dioxide component lasts. (Anything that catalyzes has a “shelf-life” so to speak because all the material is used up.) Good question!

**Q: I just purchased a replacement filter flt4825.  the new filter fits however the unit will not turn on. any advice?**
A: Check the safety switch under the bottom edge of the filter, be sure that the filter is engaging and pressing the switch down all the way.
