**Q: Is this suitable for drying mushrooms?**
A: Yes- just takes a long time. The highest temp of 75*c means no fear of damage to anything “special” 👍

**Q: How long does it take to dry soft fruit like banana, kiwi etc**
A: 24h for slightly soft, about 48h for dry but depends how thick you cut it. This is based on a 5mm thick slice.

**Q: does this make the fruit crispy, like freeze dried raspberries you can buy?**
A: No, they are still slightly bendy and soft. More like the chewy mango and dried fruit snacks you can get. There are other techniques using the freezer or oven but I don't know about soft fruit.

**Q: anybody tried to dehydrated soaked nuts, specifically almonds?**
A: I haven't tried nuts, but I have tried fruit and mushrooms and other things that are quite dense, which are no problem
