I'm using these indoors mostly on an elliptical trainer but no chafing, no riding up and keeps everything in place but i'm no longer a distance runner & wear them 30-60 min daily at the most. My only complaint would be that I did have to cut the tag out of both shorts. In the past the majority of my running shorts had the instructions stamped on the inside versus a tag that was super annoying. I would highly recommend for the price. My only complaint is this: the draw string is too short and often disappears into the short. Then I have to spend time, maybe even use a clothes hanger, to retrieve the string. Murphy's Law says it always happens when I'm in a hurry. If I forget to tie the string together prior to washing, or the string will have to be retrieved.
