Excellent quality bag. Nice leather trim. Bag dimensions conform to airlines for carry on.  Rugged. Stuffed it full and zipper held up.UPDATE 1/2018 - well, it is going on 3 years now and this bag has made several trips as a carry-on on the airlines and continues to hold up well. I have filled it to bursting a few times where I had to cinch the middle together to get it to zip. The zipper is strong and has held up.UPDATE 1/2020 - here we are going on 5 years now and this is the ONLY bag I take with me on airline trips. I have crammed it pretty full and can still smush it down into the smallest of overhead bins (e.g. smaller CRJ jets). The zipper has seen some punishment and continues to be perfect! The faux leather handles are starting to wear a bit where I carry it but only gives it additional character and manly charm. *wink*

I bought this bag for a trip to NYC. The zipper broke the second time I used it. I packed it just fine to go to NYC and it broke leaving NYC. Luckily NYC has several bag stores and I picked up a sturdy nylon bag for $10. It wasn't much to look at but at least the zipper did not break. I left the broken bag at the hotel.
