Just ensure you are feeding your existing lawn too much nitrogen. **Q: Can I apply this product during early spring to kickstart an established lawn?** A: I believe the purpose of this fertilizer is to help new seeds to germinate, take root, and grow whether completely reseeding or overseeding an existing lawn. If no reseeding or overseeding is performed, many other good lawn fertilizers are available.
