It has helped with my trigger thumb. I sleep in it at night and it's great. No issues at all, my thumb is not as stiff when I wake up in the morning. I like the cold pack; I threw it in the freezer for a few hours and it was good to go. This makes it SO much easier to ice my thumb; the shape and velcro keep the pack in the correct position. I have not tried to heat it up to use as a heat pack. This product seems to cover those requirements. The thumb section is quite tight and can't be adjusted. Once on my hand, it's quite awkward for me to use my computer mouse. I think the splint does as much as any splint can, until I can get a steroid injection. Due to COVID, my hand surgeon cannot see me. The reason that I chose this particular splint, is because of the hot/cold pack that came with it. I do wish that it had included a picture of how the cold pack goes on the finger. I did finally figure it out. It works much better than holding a larger ice pack on. It can be loosely secured with the attached velcro. All in all, it's a great deal, for a good price. Oh, I do think that the thumb portion may be too small for a person with a large hand/thumb. I wish that that part was also adjustable. It barely fits my thumb, and I am a female with average sized hands.
