I got these for my 5-year old grandson for his birthday. He said that he needed binoculars to go bird watching. I was extremely surprised when I opened them to see that they look very expensive. They close up to fit the space between a young child's eyes and open to accommodate an adult. They have a great neck strap to keep him from dropping them. They are compact and are light and easy for a child to use and to transport. The small size does not compromise the quality of the product. They are of such excellent quality, that my miserly brother in law asked me where I got them and said that he couldn't even match that price at Goodwill. He said that he would tell his cousin about them, since he is looking for some good binoculars. All in all, these are wonderful.... and have night vision, to boot!! My grandson loves them. Every time he is here, he picks them up and heads outdoors to look for birds. Now he is asking me to make him a bird book to find birds. Errrrr. Please read *by M***R on July 21, 2025* The binocular works as expected with the exception of the foldable eye cups for glasses wearers. The description states they fold, but there is only approx 1/4" of rubber and they do not fold down without rolling back to the original position. As a person who wears glasses, I have found I have to take off my glasses in order to get them to dial in correctly. This is not too big of a problem for my prescription needs, but may for others.
