Not only is the metal strong but the safety pins also can open up! I should have taken a picture for reference but I loved that added touch if I wanted to mix it up and open one later on down the road. I did alter the pins by spray painting them a farmhouse matte black since they only come in brown. They turned out awesome and I’m very happy with this purchase.

These are so cute, are nice and big, and easily open and close. The pin end is blunt and not a danger to anyone. These would be very cute either in a nursery or a laundry room.
