Worked just fine for years. Fast forward to being in my 40s, and the neck strap alone just wasn't cutting it when I finally got my own bari. :) I tried the cheap harness that came with the bari, a Jazzlab saxholder, and the Gemini harness. None of them worked well for my tall, thin frame with bony shoulders. I decided to try the Pro Tec before springing $$$ for the Vandoren harness contraption that Leo P. uses, and I'm glad I did!!
