You could most likely use one of our varnishes as a sort of primer depending on what products you are looking to backpaint with. Go figure... ### ⭐ Montana sprat paint gloss varnish is NOT gloss *by A***M on June 15, 2025* Bought the gloss varnish because it was recommended to protect the paint. This is NOT gloss and was a waste of time and money and I had to start the project over (luckily i started with a small piece) because it has a satin finish.
