## Description

GIR Ahinsak Gau Ghee Vedic, Ethical, Desi Pure Breed Gaumata (A2), Bilona, Grass-Fed, Non-Gmo Good For Health, 500 Ml : desertcart.in: Grocery & Gourmet Foods

Review: Exceptional Taste, Quality and Sourcing - food for the Gods (and Humans)! - First up: this clearly isn't cheap but its the *only* ghee that is sourced humanely (no slaughter of old animals, no forced pregnancies, calfs are fed first etc.) , is organic and is A2 (i.e. from domestic or Desi breeds - which produce ghee of a superior nutritional profile). The quality of care given to the animals make this a guilt-free product that I'm delighted to use for my family. In terms of taste, I find it exceptional which is probably due to the quality feed and medicinal herbs that the cows are fed. This ghee has made for so many delicious Moong dal halwas, Dal Tadkas, Kesari Baths, Dosas etc. (my mouth is watering as I type this review). Just half a teaspoon of this mixed into your plate transforms an everyday meal in to something sublime. As we use this with moderate consumption in our house, it has lasted for more than 2 months so while its not exactly cheap, its not breaking the bank either and is good value. I'm willing to pay for this as it ensures the cows are not left on the streets or sent to a slaughterhouse but instead are given the care that they deserve after spending their life in our service. A must buy for those care for quality as well as humane care for the gentle animals that gift us with this amazingly nutritious food for our families!
Review: Tastes is Superb. - It's texture, taste, smell, is very good. Thank you for your wonderful efforts. Want to order again, but showing "Currently unavailable" from a long time at my address. That's why unable to order again.

## Features

- Artisan - Made using traditional Vedic bilona process – derived from butter of curdled whole A2 milk (instead of just cream) of pure breed Gir Gaumata’s using a slow wood fired flame to retain maximum nutrition.
- Ahinsak – Adheres to ancient Vedic practice of ‘dohan’ where calf is free to feed from 2 ‘Anchals’, while the remaining two ‘Anchals’ are used to obtain milk for other living beings.
- Natural, non-GMO and Ayurvedic feed - Gaumata’s (‘Cow’ as Divine Mother) free to graze in a field nurtured with traditional manure, dry feed is non-GMO and as far as possible natural. Rich Ayurvedic herbs also added to the feed.
- Ethical & Non-exploitative – we never ‘get rid of’ non-lactating Gaumata’s (‘Cow’ as Divine Mother) or male calves. We don’t employ artificial insemination, hormone treatments or milking machines. We like to see our Gaumata’s as family.
- Ayurvedic – calms Vata and Pitta dosha’s, feeds ojas, improves strength & intelligence, improves digestion, aerobic performance, vision and fertility. Highly nutritious – Naturally rich in vitamins and beneficial fatty acids.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Container seal
*by G***R on 17 July 2022*

Please seal the cap of glass jar properly or cover the whole glass jar... Plastic seal just came off as it is with metal cap while rotating the cap... Just a request to company if they do read reviews... As it much higher price, a better complete plastic seal on the whole jar should not be an issue...
