Alone, it has a really nice and simple light red color with a little shimmer. It doesn't have actual glitter but I notice that my lips shine.I put it on to hydrate my lips so it does well at that. It's also easy to apply. It wipes off easily if you make mistakes.I've tried with different layers and find that a ~thick~ layer leaves a pretty sticky feeling that stays for about... 4 or so hours?It stays on for a decent amount of time. I usually reapply in about 4 or 5 hours for 2 swipesSometimes I use it with other red color tints or lipsticks to have that shine and sometimes strengthen the color. I really love it.The only thing is when I first got it, it leaked all over the place. After about a week, that stopped though ! If you wanted a thicker, more hydrating/moisturizing lip oil you will need to go else where and if you were looking for a stronger tint you would also have to look elsewhere. Otherwise, I think this product works and does what it claims.
