I appreciated how the book takes you across three phases of events / corresponding emotions for the sibling and parents: before baby's arrival with all of the excitement and anticipation, to baby going to the NICU, to bringing the baby home. The illustrations were great and our toddler LOVED this book, asking us to read it to him at least twice a day during baby's NICU stay and even well after baby came home. The only things I disliked were that there were lines in there that did not correspond to the NICU rules at our hospital (e.g. older siblings could not touch the NICU baby sibling at all at our hospital) and some lines in the book advocated the older sibling touching the preemie baby's head (I wouldn't advocate any toddler touching a newborn's head, let alone a preemie baby's head--rather, baby's feet instead). It would be great if Amazon could add this to prime to get it shipped out faster--time is of the essence when you have a baby in the NICU and you are trying to find ways to help an older sibling cope with this specific situation as quickly as possible. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for the situation *by A***D on Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2016* This book is absolutely perfect! I bought it for my four year old while we wait for her baby sister to come home. It has just the right level of honest and accurate information (and illustrations) without being over her head or scary. She loves to point out all the things the baby in the book has, just like her sister (breathing tube, feeding tube, etc). She hasn't stopped requesting it be read since it arrived, I feel like it is really helping her articulate the questions that have been in her head since her sister was born. I cannot say enough good things about this book.
