The pieces are so stiff even when it’s unlocked and it doesn’t make smooth transitions. I expected the plastic teeth to move fairly freely and then lock in place once locked, but that is not the case. They are so hard to move, kind of disappointing so I’ll look for another brand I guess. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Stiff, hard to move pins, great locking feature *by B***H on Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2019* It works, but the slides/pins/whatever they're called do not slide easily, especially several at a time. I'm going to try some dry lube. The locking feature is really nice. ### ⭐ Not good quality. *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2019* The product arrived broken, the locking lever had snapped in half. The locking feature was the primary reason I had purchased this one. The pins are also way too tight. I understand they need to be somewhat tight to hold the shape, but this was so tight that I could barely move them with my bare hands pushing them. Overall, going to return and purchase somewhere else. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/162050764-etekstorm-contour-gauge-with-lock-profile-gauge-10-inch-25cm](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/162050764-etekstorm-contour-gauge-with-lock-profile-gauge-10-inch-25cm) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
