Variety Review: Worked great on duck weed - Bought this 3 years ago to help treat the duck weed and buildup in our 1/4 acre or so pond but never got around to using it. We finally applied it this spring, just as there started to be some duck weed and algae buildup. It took maybe a week or so to notice if it was doing anything, but now about 3 weeks later we are amazed at how clear our pond is. This product will not make your water that ornamental blue color (there is another product for that), so don't expect that. We didn't want it to have that color change, so this was a great product for us. I definitely plan to get another jug of this to have on hand for next year or if the buildup starts coming back as the weather gets hot. So far we are very impressed. I wish I had taken before and after pictures. We do have ducks that come around and nest as well as lots of frogs and tadpoles, and it hasn't seemed to bother them in the least.
