Kept my kid busy for 40 minutes which is unheard of, normal attention span is max 7 min. However, it lost its properties by the second playtime, even when sealed tight in original container. It is still good for play otherwise, just no longer slimy in texture. It stains surfaces also, it helps to cover the play area with a sand blanket Update: After sand has dried out, you can restore it to its original texture by adding the tiniest amount of water.
