The product photos don't do it justice. I was expecting Dollar Store quality. The nylon-coated tape extends horizontally just over 2 metres before it collapses, which isn't too much of a problem. The numbers are clear and accurate according to my more expensive German 2-metre folding measuring stick. The tape pulls out and retracts smoothly; just watch your fingers, as it comes back quickly. Review: smooth, strong, tough and easily read - Nothing really innovative about this tape but the more I use it the more I like it. The rubber armor is thick and grippy; the belt clip clings like sin; the retract spring hauls the tape back with alacrity but no snapping at the end; the lock works perfectly with moderate pressure. The underside is blank, but the concave-side markings are bold and high-contrast, each 10 cm red, so it's easy to read even in dim light. No dopey inch marks allows the scale to use the full width of the blade, enhancing legibility. I can't point to any individual feature as being outstanding, but it's a a solid, capable tool that does its job well. Aside from the absence of underside printing (which is really handy), I can't complain. ## Features - Make sure this fits by entering your model number. - 100% new and high quality. - ONLY ONE VARIABLE AVAIALBLE ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0064XJTFY | | Blade Length | 8 Metres | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Blade Width | 2.5 Centimetres | | Brand | Komelon | | Brand Name | Komelon | | Case Material Type | Plastic | | Colour | black | | Country of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,354 Reviews | | Item Weight | 0.01 Ounces | | Manufacturer | Komelon | | Model Number | PG85 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | PG85 | ## Product Details - **Blade Material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** Komelon - **Case Material Type:** Plastic - **Colour:** black - **Item Weight:** 0.01 Ounces ## Images ![Komelon PG85 8m by 25mm Metric Gripper Tape, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71s9Jg+aHBL.jpg) ![Komelon PG85 8m by 25mm Metric Gripper Tape, Black - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71rwmvXuvOL.jpg) ![Komelon PG85 8m by 25mm Metric Gripper Tape, Black - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71nwjiq9N4L.jpg) ![Komelon PG85 8m by 25mm Metric Gripper Tape, Black - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71mCstEhRdL.jpg) ![Komelon PG85 8m by 25mm Metric Gripper Tape, Black - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71rm3InP4xL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Much Better Than I Anticipated! *by P***K on 24 June 2026* The quality of the entire measuring tape and the grippy rubber around it is great! And it is only in centimetres, which is fine for me but buyers need to be aware. ## Frequently Bought Together - Komelon PG85 8m by 25mm Metric Gripper Tape, Black - Shinwa H101-C 300 mm Rigid "Zero Glare" Metric Machinist Ruler/Rule Scale .5 mm & mm Markings - Milwaukee 4932459593 C5/25 5m Pro Compact Metric Tape Measure, Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/162400017-komelon-pg85-8m-by-25mm-metric-gripper-tape-black](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/162400017-komelon-pg85-8m-by-25mm-metric-gripper-tape-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
