But be aware that this is a very short cable and you will need a longer cord if your connecting it to a counsel mounted finder. **Q: Does this work with the Humminbird Helix 12?** A: It worked on my Helix 5 and I would think it would work on the 12. You can go to the HB website under support or help and they list all the compatible units. This adapter plug fits two of my older HB units also. I think the plug is universal on all, but check the website or call them to make sure. **Q: Is one end a 4 pin? It fits snugly into the cable connector on the back of the fish finder. I tried two other Chinese knock offs sold by Amazon for ten dollars less and neither would stay connected to the fish finder.
