The hot shoe adapter that came with it is not the very best of quality, but what can you expect in this price range. I needed another shoe mount adapter anyway and got a good one for the bottom and used the one that came with the bracket to mount my Tascam audio recorder which weighs next to nothing.This bracket is exactly what I was expecting. Its not very steady, it rotates and brings heavy part down, there's no provision of securing this on the umbrella rod. Also the flash/speedlite holders are not of the correct dimensions, my Canon 43EX III-RT fell off it twice. It's just bad craftsmanship by the manufacturer, and there is another review on the Adorama website where that buyer encountered the same problem.Another flash bracket that I purchased from Amazon doesn't fit any of the flash shoe feet on any of my devices (mic, flash, video light, etc.). It's getting to the point that I simply cannot go by the description of Adorama products anymore, because I always seem to have to return everything to them.
