I wouldn't really call it vanilla, but more of a non-floral sweet smell like fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts with a touch of a light spicy aftertone. It's subtle, but strong. Essentially, it lasts all day long and the scent definitely will catch the nose of whoever you walk by, but the scent doesn't linger and and hang in the room. Everyone will smell it and love it (I've never known anyone not to like this scent), but it's just enough for a small sample smell and then it's gone. It always surprises me when someone comments on how good it smells, but I can no longer smell it myself. That's what makes this the perfect aftershave! Of course it makes your face feel great after a shave just like every Clubman product. This Clubman scent is dangerous (in more ways than one)! I was out of town the first time I tried this scent and came home really late after a long flight. The first thing my wife said to me after spending days apart was "Wow! You smell great!" I was shocked that she could even smell it as I walked by her on my way in. It had been over 12 hours since I had put it on. She couldn't stay away from me for wanting to smell me (unusual, but a plesent surprise)! So this stuff works great after a shave, but even better at bringing in your lady a little closer!
