Review: Great for Passive Basses! - I've had this pedal for about two months now and I think it's great. I've encountered no technical difficulties and the tone is awesome. I would recommend looking up some youtube videos to make sure that this pedal is the sound you want though. It's great for funk and rock, and the ability to control the dry and fx signals individually is a unique and useful touch. I own two basses at the moment: an active Ibanez ATK300 and a passive bass I built myself with a p/j pickup configuration. I feel that the pedal sounds a lot better on passive instruments than active ones. I noticed immediately that the sound of the pedal on my p/j was better than on the Ibanez. At first I thought this was just the individual basses, but then I ran my Ibanez passive and it sounded great... so I assumed it was an active/passive thing. overall, i like the pedal a lot. BTW: the Jim Dunlop ECB03 Dun C/B Adaptor Eliminator is the correct 9V adaptor for this pedal, The one they mention in the pedal's description is not sold anymore.
Review: FUNKIEST PEDAL ! - THIS IS THE PEDAL I WAS ALWAYS WAITING FOR! GREAT ANALOG SOUND, A TRUE BYPASS CIRCUIT,AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE ABILITY TO MIX IN YOUR DRY BASS SIGNAL,THE BOTTOM END STAYS WHEN THE EFFECT IS BEING USED,ALSO WHO CAN ARGUE WITH METALLIC PURPLE,LOVE IT! AGAIN I CANT STRESS ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO BE ABLE TO MIX IN YOU DRY SIGNAL,THATS SUCH A HUGE OPTION,REASON WHY I PURCHASED IT,ALSO VERY SIMPLE TO USE AND STRONG HOUSING!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love this little Funk monster

Over the years I've had just about every EF pedal ever made and this is one of the best. The dry and FX knobs are what I like about this pedal adding more dry to the effect gives you a thicker EF sound than some other pedals. It's also a very small pedal. I still use a Source Audio EF Pedal which does a lot of things and is great but it is rather large. For some compact funk the MXR Bass EFis the way to go.
