However, when this brush set arrived, my first impression was WOW! I was very impressed! I was so excited because I finally found what I was looking for in a brush case without spending very much for it. The case is a beautiful high gloss dark burgundy and is very easy to keep clean with just a damped cloth. Although I already had brushes, this brush set is of great quality. I have allergies and sensitive skin and when I use brushes that are not good quality, they hurt and burn my face.This is not the case with this brush set.The brushes are very soft and no odors! I recommend this set even for sensitive skin. The brushes are professional length - 8" inches is the longest brush. The case is 9" inches in height - when opened 12.5" long - when closed 4" inches wide and it folds into a half inch thin clutch. The snaps are magnetic for an easy closure. The brushes stays in their slots and will not fall out of place. Because it folds thin, it fits neatly into your purse. So, if you are looking for a case for your long brushes you already have or you are in need of a makeup brush set - this one's for you!
