The white is a nice, slightly lighter version of the original black. The red is kicked up but won't kill you. My only complaint is pouring out of the massive opening in the bottle, that is a wreck waiting to happen. We pour it up in a condiment bottle to drizzle, you just have to get the tip just right so it doesn't clog but also doesn't pour straight out.
