A: Yes, you're reading the nutritional info correctly.  Typically, pho - especially commercially prepared, will have 1000mg sodium per cup.  This brand has great flavor overall .  I typically use a lot more water than the instructions call for, so you could probably use a smaller portion of the seasoning base and then save it for a bowl of broth on another day or soup if you keep dry noodles.
