His extra wide dreamy eyes will make you fall in love the second you open the box. I was especially impressed with how soft and cuddly he is. My son loves him and he is the perfect size for my toddler dude to carry around, play with and snuggle to sleep. We love this turtle and would highly recommend! **Q: Are the eyes hard or soft?**
A: The eyes are hard plastic but are fairly large so not so much of a choking hazard as others with hard eyes.  The rest of the turtle is so soft and cuddly I hardly wanted to give it to my nephew after I got it! He loved it!

**Q: Has anyone washed this? It says surface wash only but I was wondering if anyone has washed it on a gentle machine cycle?**
A: Well I had no idea it was surface wash only! I have washed mine several times on gentle cycle in a pillow case.

**Q: The turtle almost looks sad in the picture but I think its the angle.  Can someone confirm its cute and or smiles? haha**
A: Hi Joe K, the turtle doesn't smile but doesn't look as sad as the picture. I agree that on this particular angle it does look sad. My daughter wanted a turtle after watching the movie Sammy a turtle's take which I recommend by the way. My daughter is very sensitive to facial expression and she would have definitively said something if her turtle looked sad. It's very soft and a nice size. I would buy it again.

**Q: How big is this? How big around is the head?**
A: Dont have in front of me and it's been a while. But head is 3x3 and total lenght is about 8 inches maybe. All I know is my 2 year old granddaught then and now 3 is totally in love with it. She says its the turtle son from mermaid.
