The instructions are purely visual and show a no. of bricks to use to built up the ship. but the bags that contain the bricks are not labeled either so you don't know how many bricks you have and whether they're the right ones to use until you empty all the bags. Could be more intuitive. It's also quite small. However, it is the only product out there at all like this, so once you get past the somewhat confusing instructions, it really is a unique gift.
