This fork and spoon set are made from beautiful rose wood. They have a lovely color and finish. I really enjoy eating using these beautiful wooden utensils. I especially enjoy drinking my nighttime cup of chai with one of these hand crafted spoons.Keep in mind they ship from overseas, so they will take time to arrive. But they seem to come from a small family business, which I feel good about supporting.

I use wooden spoons and forks a lot, have some I’ve had for years. When I opened the package 2 of the forks were broken, and the sad thing is, the broken pieces were not even in the sealed bag…tells me they were put in there broken.

The set of utensils came bubble wrapped to prevent any damage to them. When I first removed them from the packaging, the utensils had a sticky glossy coating, it came off as soon as I washed it. Both of the utensils are well polished, no need to worry about splinters.The fork is a bit hard to use as it does not really have the curvature necessary to comfortably pick up food, it reminds me of a shovel. The spoon is a little bit shallow when compared to a stainless steel but I use it for anything from soups to desserts.This was my first time using and purchasing wooden utensils and I am pleased.
