It was certainly a good value (considering the low cost) and was easy to install (that is depending on the application). HOWEVER even at the warmest setting the refrigerator runs at just above 40 degrees - for a refrigerator it should be at that temperature at a midway setting. I will see how things go for a few weeks and then perhaps try to adjust it using the small (sealed) adjustment screw on the back of the unit. That will entail removing the thermostat and turning the screw one way or the other - trial and error. Perhaps I can place the temperature sensor in some ice water and use the two adjustments (front and back) getting the thermostat to click in and out at mid range.Isn't life fun ;-)Bob C.

I used this on a small Magic Chef Mini Fridge model HMBR350SE. It is not an exact replacement but it works. The temperature prob was only 12 inches long where as the original was 24” long. I rerouted the probe, drilled a small hole through a plastic housing and it just made it to the coil. The temperature adjustment is much lower and will freeze everything if I turn the temp knob past 3. This can be adjusted on the switch but I would have to take it out again so I just don’t adjust the temperature knob colder then 3 and my beer stays a cold 35’F. Over all this $6 thermostat saved my Fridge from the dump and I would buy it again.. it’s an easy replacement.

Cheap and a works great on my mini fridge. Like many, I was cautious since a lot of people said that it kept the temp too low but it works great on my mini fridge and keeps beer at a perfect temp. I suspect people that are having freezing issue don't realize that the tube needs to be attached to the freezer section of the mini fridge which is made up of the evaporator tubes. So yes, it is calibrated for a freezer but that is how all the thermostats work on all the mini fridges that I have owned. Also, I have had this for over a year now and it still works great!

My Magic Chef HMBR350SE was working off and on, put an ohm meter on the thermostat and determined it was bad. The replacement from Magic Chef was $45, this Uxcell for $7.49 worked great and resolved the issue. The thermal cord was 12" vs 24", but it reached adequately and it is working fine. Definitely saved some bucks!Larry

This was used as a replacement for a WPF21P-100-013 thermostat found in an Avanti "cube" refrigerator. Wasn't exactly listed as a replacement part but did the job, though I had to replace the spade lugs with larger ones. The lead is listed as 30 cm, but the one I received was a bit shorter than that. Still did the job though, fridge has been running fine since then.

My old college dorm mini fridge finally went out (years later) and not wanting to lose all my sticker bomb memories, I went looking for a replacement. This is not an exact model match because my model has been long discontinued. But it worked! And it's easily adjustable, watch youtube videos for how to calibrate.

Found what I needed online and found it on Amazon way cheaper. Easy install. Mini-fridge is up and working again....nice cold, frosty beverages. Warning though....set the dial to 3-4 in the beginning to find the right temperature. I initially set the dial to 7-8 and it froze my sodas. Good luck!

This product was delivered on time (couple of days) and that alone deserves a big thumbs up as refrigerators can be real trouble when they break because of the loss of food. Once the easy installation was done, I turned the fridge on and it has been running great ever since!

Works better than the garbage thermostat Whirlpool put in my new fridge. Which is a $120 ripoff replacement part! I put 2 in, to have a backup in case one fails again.
