I selected this one as the most affordable at the time, although there were no reviews. Thought I’d post one to reassure others.This item does exactly what it says it does. It pops out instantly, collapses back just as fast, and with some learning of how to pull it stops at any height in between. It has both the hand strap and the shoulder strap. It feels super stable to sit on. At tallest it’s a smidge taller than I find comfortable (I’m short) so probably reasonable for most people. The top and bottom are smooth plastic. If you’ve ever sat on, you know, a stool, well that’s what sitting on it feels like.My intended purpose was to support soccer-momming and I’d looked at a whole bunch of camp chairs but most are really low to the ground and way too reclined for my taste - I’m watching a game at ground level, not relaxing and gazing at the stars. I wanted to be able to sit relatively upright and have it tall enough that I’m not struggling to stand back up, and for it to be easy to throw in the bag and bring along. They're basically a disk with a strap, that telescopes to a stool - ingenious! That's exactly how it looks. It does have a little bit of weight to it, but it isn't really heavy. I appreciate that the shoulder strap is available.
