Yeah, there are better lights out there, but do you really wanna give your ThruNight to your teenager to take camping? Nope. I've been using mine a lot testing batteries for my YouTube channel (search my name) and they have held up well. I've bought several of the cheap lights to play with, and this one is one of the better constructed. The important thing is to get a good battery, and preferably, invest in a good charger. A really good battery is this one:  ThorFire 3000 mAh 3.7V 18650 Battery Protected Rechargeable Li-ion Battery for Flashlight Which surprised me because I didn't expect it to be worth a darn, but it really is over 3000mah.I have about 7 smart chargers, but the best, and the one I use the most is:  Foxnovo F-4S 4-Slots LCD Battery Charger for Li-ion 26650, 22650, 18650, 18500, 18490, 17670, 17650, 17500, 16340, 14500, 10440 and Ni-MH /Ni-CD: A, AA, AAA, C, SC (Black) Excellent charger that will allow you to check the capacity of the batteries you buy, see if they are what they claim to be.For a little less money this charger comes with a 12v adapter and will allow you to charge batteries while you're driving, useful for people who camp out of their trucks.
