Micromar Micrometers with the REFERENCE symbol are equipped with the innovative Reference-System. The zero position just has to be set once: after setting the zero position, the zero remains stored for all further measurements. Therefore, once the micrometer is switched ON or the thimble is moved the micrometer is immediately ready for measurement. The need to reset to zero with a conventional micrometer once the micrometer is switched on has now become obsolete. The 40 EWR is provided with MarConnect data output where the user can select output format with either a USB or digimatic compatible cable for data transfer directly into Marcom and data software. Its Large digital readout LCD shows inch or metric units for versatility, and allows either absolute or incremental measurement readings. There are tolerance icon to help the user qualify the part being measured. A HOLD function freezes the display for easier viewing when measuring in restrictive applications.
