Splenda wrecks my stomach. We're so glad to have a maltitol-sweetened alternative that isn't overdone to the point where it's like snacking on ExLax. Though we've tried most brands of sugar-free chocolate, we've come to love YC's offerings. Most chocolates are ridiculously sweet to the point where I can't stand them; these are just right. We buy the 8-pound box and store it in the fridge where we nibble on one or two per day for months. I'm sorry the other reviewer had such a negative experience. This is great tasting chocolate. We store it for long periods of time and are grateful to have something that suits our needs and tastes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Chocolate *by D***R on July 17, 2013* YC Chocolate Tabs proved to be excellent in all respects: texture, flavor, color, it ships well and is suitable for diabetics. The main drawback is that the eight pound container doesn't seem to last very long around our house (the tabs can be had in a smaller package if you just want to try them.) It's a dark chocolate and some may find it on the bitter side, but that's our preference, and it has a wonderful chocolate taste. If you like Hershey's Milk Chocolate, this isn't for you; otherwise, for the price you can't beat the taste and quality. To find chocolate that he can eat is hard. To find chocolate that he can eat AND is really good is even harder. But, this product is really good. It tastes good and you would never know that it doesn't have all those things things that he can't eat.I use this chocolate in cooking desserts for him.
